The Monarchs Detox
To make your service run smoothly and efficiently, we require participation and trust on your part- and homework. A detox is simply just replacing your shampoos with better quality ingredients that will open up your cuticles for more absorption of moisture.
Guests should detox from heavy oils, silicone’s, clay masks, and Eco/Wetline Gel at least 21 days (3 shampoo sessions) prior to your appointment. Detox instructions are found below.

- We only schedule a month at a time. Each month’s schedule will be opened on the 20th of the month before.
- If there is not a date available for the time you are interested in, it is possible that the appointment is already taken or I am unavailable.
- You can be added to the cancellation list and will be notified if we receive a last-minute cancellation. Email us at info@pursuitofcurlsstudio.com
Cancellations and No Show
Pursuit of Curls Studio requires a 48-hour notice for penalty-free cancellations for any appointments. Guests must cancel appointments by text, or email if I cannot be reached during the day. If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours notice you will lose your deposit. If you cancel in under 48 hours but were not required to leave a deposit you may be asked to pay a fee before rescheduling.
This policy is in place out of respect for our hair artists’ time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are difficult to fill. By giving last-minute notice or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule into that time slot.
Late Arrivals-
It’s understood that “life happens”, if for any reason you are expecting to be late by 15 minutes or more to a scheduled appointment, call or text me. If I am unable to reach a client 15 minutes into their appointment, the client will be considered a ‘NO Show’ and their appointment will be removed. Clients who arrive late may have their appointments adjusted to fit the remaining time. If this happens, the full cost of the scheduled appointment may still apply. Please be aware of the unfortunate event you are late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day. Tardiness may require rescheduling your appointment for another day.
No Show-
If a guest does not show up for their scheduled appointment, they will lose their deposit if one was required, or be prompted to pay 50% of their scheduled service.
Repeat no-shows or late cancellations will be asked to not return to the Pursuit of Curls Studio.
Service Satisfaction-
Pursuit of Curls Studio does not offer monetary refunds on services rendered. If you are not satisfied with your service, I ask you to please contact me within 10 days of your original appointment to receive a complimentary correction service (instances may vary). I would like every opportunity to meet and exceed your expectations, as I value you as a guest.
